Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate my running pace?

Divide your total time by the distance. 25 minutes for 5 km is 5:00 per kilometer, or about 8:03 per mile.

How long is a marathon and a half marathon?

A marathon is 42.195 km (26.2 miles) and a half marathon is 21.0975 km (13.1 miles). A 5K is 5 km (3.1 miles) and a 10K is 10 km (6.2 miles).

How do I predict my finish time?

Multiply your pace by the race distance. Keep in mind that most runners slow down over longer distances, so a pace from a 5K is optimistic for a marathon.
